- I have few developers in office who like to install fonts on regular basis. How can I allow a user to install a font without admin prompt coming up asking for admin credentials? We have Windows 8.1 in our environment.

I have a business class with full blown Adobe CC installed, and they would like the ability for students to be able to install fonts at will when working on their ACC projects. I've been Googling for answers all day, and nothing so far seems relevant to Windows 10 (mostly old WinXP stuff). The Win7 icalcs / regkey solution I found doesn't appear to work in Win10. That 'fix' allows them to copy the fonts to the %systemroot%fonts folder, but it won't let them actually install the font so it can be used within the various applications. I would prefer not to use a third party tool, if at all possible. Has anyone else run into this?

We have one domain user who works in graphic design, so he constantly needs to install new fonts on his computer. Currently, he has to call our helpdesk every time he finds a new font so that we can remote in to provide admin credentials (in the UAC promt that comes up automatically when he tries to install it).
As you can see this is not an ideal scenario, but I can't seem to find a way to give him this access without making him a local admin, which we don't want to do for security purposes.
I had read that you could give an account access to just the WindowsFonts folder and he could manually copy fonts into there, but after testing that solution doesn't seem to work either.
